Sessions
Our sessions are as follows:
All day: 8am until 6pm. Includes all meals and snacks
Morning: 8am until 1pm. Includes morning snack and lunch
Afternoon: 1pm until 6pm. Includes afternoon snack and tea
We also offer childcare during school holidays on request
Our Day at Rocking Horse
| 8.00am | Morning session starts. Children play and have breakfast (babies have breakfast if parents request) |
| 9.30am | Snack time. Children have a cup of milk/water in the dining room and a variety of breakfast snacks including: toast, fruit, yoghurt and porridge |
| 10.00am | Play time. Rooms separate for their play sessions which include: sensory activities, messy play, craft activities and other age appropriate toys. |
| 12.00pm | Lunch time. All children eat a range of home cooked hot meals in the dining room |
| 1.00pm | Morning session ends/afternoon session begins. Children who require a sleep do so. Play time including: sensory activities, craft activities and other age appropriate toys are enjoyed both indoors and out. All children are offered a snack at around 2.30pm |
| 4.00pm | Tea time. The children enjoy either a hot or cold tea in the communal dining area |
| 4.30pm | The children return to their rooms and enjoy another play session. |
| 6.00pm | Nursery closes. |
