Meal Times
At Rocking Horse Nursery we pride ourselves on the fresh, home cooked food prepared by our in-house cook.
Mealtimes are held in the dining room on the ground floor. The children enjoy breakfast snacks at 9:30am, a hot home cooked lunch at 12pm, rolling afternoon snack (in rooms) at 2:30pm and evening tea at 4pm.
We work to a 6 week rolling menu. The table below links shows the rolling schedule and provides links to the weekly meal plans. Note that, where we try to use the freshest in-season produce including fruit and vegetables from our own gardens, some of the meals are subject change. Additionally we love to introduce foods and celebrations from around the world e.g.Chinese New Year, St David’s day, Maltese Day. So expect menus to change on these days too!
Our meals are so popular with our children that we are often asked by parents for recipes! Please do not hesitate to ask if you require any.
